Summer Company is back with a never-before-seen play by award winning writer Florence Espeut-Nickless!

With an original script created exclusively for Summer Company, young people aged 12–18 are invited to be part of one of our most exciting and sought-after summer experiences. During this three-week residency, you’ll take over the entire building, work as a company, and be guided by industry professionals to bring a brand-new play to life.

The show will be a fast-paced, ensemble-led adventure comedy that explores what it means to stand out in an environment where everyone’s desperate to fit in. It will begin in our contemporary world and spill into a magical fantasy realm, where the qualities we’ve been taught to see as weaknesses become our greatest strengths. At its heart it will focus on individuality as a superpower, celebrating each and every participant in their uniqueness and challenge traditional ideas of what a “hero” looks like, centring young people who don’t usually see themselves cast in that role.

*It will be developed in conversation with young people throughout our summer term and the rehearsal process*

Whether you’re drawn to acting, stage management, design, tech, or you’re still figuring out where you fit, Summer Company gives you the opportunity to explore in an environment where you can be yourself.

Sign up now to take part in this extraordinary production!

From 10th – 29th August, 10am – 5pm daily.
Performances Friday 28th & Saturday 29th August, 2pm & 6pm daily.

Full commitment to the three-week rehearsal period is essential
