Access Register

All access patrons are invited to join our Access scheme so allowing us to better meet their requirements during their booking process and visit.

Tickets

Specific discounted tickets are available for: Audio-Described, BSL Signed and Captioned performances. Discounts are offered to all patrons on our access register.

Wheelchair Access

Main House: 850mm wide by 1250mm deep for Royal Circle D Row, and 850mm wide by 850mm deep for Royal Circle S Row. There is also space for wheelchair users at either end of Stalls E Row.

Ustinov: 800mm wide by 1100mm deep.

The Egg: 800mm wide by 1400mm deep. 

Please note: The Main House accessible toilet doors have a maximum width of 750mm.

Assistance Dogs

We welcome assistance dogs in all performance spaces and offer the option for them to be looked after by our Front of House team.

It is always worth checking with staff before you go into a performance if there is anything about the play which might affect your dog.

Sennheiser

Infrared Sennheiser headsets are available to borrow free of charge from any of the theatre bars in the Main House/Ustinov or from Egg reception to increase the sound level.

Please note that there is no hearing loop accessible via patrons' own hearing aids.

Lift

Main House: Lift access to the Stalls and Royal Circle only. The lift door opens at Maximum size 850mm x 1250mm, and maximum weight 400kg.

Ustinov Studio: Lift access to the Stalls only. Maximum size 800mm x 1100mm. The Circle level is accessible by stairs only. There are 25 stairs from the first floor up to the Circle.

The Egg: Lift access to all levels. Maximum size 800mm x 1400mm.

Audio Described

During these performances, the actors' dialogue is supplemented with live commentary through a headset, explaining what is happening on stage.

BSL Interpreted

During these performances a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will translate both spoken and heard elements of the performance.

Captioned

During these performances, captions are displayed on screens on either side of the stage.

Relaxed

During the Relaxed Performances, the house lights stay on, doors are open, and visitors can come and go as they please. The theatre also adjusts lighting and sound levels to create a more comfortable environment and provides additional wheelchair spaces.

Touch Tours

Touch Tour provides an engaging sensory experience that allows guests to explore and touch the props, costumes, and sets up close before the show. These tours are typically 30 minutes in duration and are available by ticket reservation for specific performances.
