Bath’s award-winning amateur company return following the sell-out success of Joseph and the Amazing Technocolor Dreamcoat with another smash-hit feelgood musical extravaganza!
Disco diva Deloris’ life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Placed under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she shouldn’t be found - a convent! Encouraged to help the struggling choir, she helps her fellow sisters find their true voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.
Featuring original music by Tony Award and eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Disney's Aladdin, Enchanted, Little Shop of Horrors) and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, this heavenly musical is joyous and uplifting in equal measure!
BODS is one of the region's most acclaimed amateur companies, and has been performing in Bath since 1894. Recent productions at the Theatre Royal Bath include Oklahoma!, 9 to 5 The Musical and Guys and Dolls.
“Joyful, uplifting, musical theatre magic” Bath Sound
“A joyful, ebullient company giving you 100% of their talent and love of the theatre” Bristol Post
