This year The Egg, Bear Trap Theatre, Oxford Playhouse and Wales Millennium Centre are premiering a new show, Josephine, for young audiences (aged 8 to 12), based on the life of African-American activist and entertainer Josephine Baker, written by Leona Allen and Jesse Briton.
Around this, we are also creating a prototype Creative Learning Portal, which will exist as an online resource to support and enhance the experience of the show within schools. This Portal will be a new digital experience for schools, teachers and learners.
We are looking for a Creative Technologist to inspire, support, guide and project manage the development of the Portal.

The Portal will be developed between February and August, with a number of test phases built in during this period. We will be launching it in September alongside the tour of the show.
This will be a paid position in line with industry norms. Exact fee to be determined once recruitment has been made and time commitment agreed upon. At this stage, we are interested in hearing from and holding discovery meetings with Creative Technologists who are interested.
