Fri 7 Nov
Our Man in the Field
- 7 November
Event Information
Former Noah and the Whale member Matt Owens, now a full-time member of Our Man in the Field, has brought outstanding live music to Bath for years with his acclaimed 7 Hills project. That journey has seen over 1,000 people attend the last 7 Hills festival, glowing press reviews, and even a spellbinding concert at the Roman Baths this summer. Now he returns to Bath with Our Man in the Field for a special show at the Ustinov Studio.
The band has had a remarkable year, playing huge stages at Glastonbury, Hyde Park, and the Royal Albert Hall, and now bring that energy to Bath for an intimate evening featuring songs from their upcoming, unreleased album Silverado— recorded at Mark Knopfler’s legendary British Grove Studios, regarded as one of the finest studios in the world.
Legendary broadcaster Bob Harris has called Our Man in the Field “sensational”, praising them as “real music” and a “must-see band.” With growing recognition at home and abroad, the band are clearly on the rise — and may not be playing venues this size for much longer.
This is a rare chance to experience one of the UK’s most exciting rising acts up close, in a beautiful space, before they head to much bigger stages.
Support comes from Bath based GRACE BLAND who Our Man in the Field describes as a hidden gem with a golden voice who won’t remain hidden for long.
The Ustinov Studio entrance is on Monmouth Street. Please note, the Ustinov cannot be accessed from the Main House foyer.
Box Office phone lines are open from 10am - 6pm Monday - Saturday.
