katzenmusik by Tom Fowler

katzenmusik (German, n.) - caterwaul; a shrill howling or wailing noise (of a cat).

A viral video; a company capitalising on fear; prank calls; class divide; and a cat memorial.
The ever-increasing income gap between the rich and the poor has pushed the residents of Burnside Town to lose all trust in the world, but what happens when a community truly reaches breaking point?

A dark, comic story about social inequality and upheaval, katzenmusik questions how we fight for justice when those most at risk fall through the cracks...

This is an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
