February 2026 saw the culmination of a year-long community play project here at Theatre Royal Bath, where the story of Dickens’ DAVID COPPERFIELD was told by local residents on the main stage.

Produced by Engage, this visually stunning, heartfelt and inclusive production was written by Mike Akers and directed and devised by award-winning director Sally Cookson
