North London author and actress Lisa Rose brings her powerful and darkly funny solo show, Too Small to Tell to the stage. It’s a memorable story about friendship, power and surviving Harvey Weinstein’s heliocentric hell; a deeply personal story inspired by the #metoo movement and drawing from Lisa's experience of working as an assistant at Miramax and actress in the 90’s.
Nearly thirty years later, in the wake of recent allegations about - Justin Baldoni, Russell Brand, Sean Combs, Gino D'Acampo, Noel Clarke, Mohamed Al-Fayed, Giovanni Pernice, Kevin Spacey and Donald Trump - Lisa reflects on her time at Miramax and asks: why does this keep happening?
Blending humour and heartbreak, Rose explores silence and survival in an industry built on secrets. Following a sold-out performance at the Park Theatre and packed houses at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, the play was shortlisted for Best New Play at Brighton Fringe 2025.
Directed by Elizabeth Ranken and co-created with Paula B. Stanic, Too Small to Tell is a timely and gripping exploration of resilience, sisterhood, and speaking truth to power.
TOO SMALL TO TELL received rave audience reviews from its run at the Park Theatre:
“A story that should never stop being told”
"Remarkable in its simplicity, both funny and horrific"
"I was massively impressed with Lisa's energy and conviction to the role, which made for a striking performance"
