Join us for an afternoon of all things design and craft!
Cosy up in our Royal Circle Bar, while you enjoy a talk with our fabulous head of costume at Theatre Royal Bath, Katie Sykes. Listen as she unravels her years of costume design experience and brings to life her process when designing for theatre and specifically what ideas she’ll be bringing to David Copperfield: A Life – our community production. Bring along your own sewing, design and craft projects to talk through with fellow sewers over a cup of tea and receive helpful tips and tricks from community sewing volunteers from Share and Repair. What better way to spend a wintry Sunday?
The House is Open at Theatre Royal Bath!
This Winter we are throwing open our doors like never before.
You can experience rare backstage access this Winter, in celebration of David Copperfield: A Life – a once-in-a-generation community play on Theatre Royal Bath’s Main Stage in February 2026, starring over 120 local people and directed by Sally Cookson. All proceeds are in aid of building project Venue 4.
We couldn’t possibly put all of you on stage, but we can sprinkle a bit of stardust across the city…..with a little help from our friends!
