A group for those who want to explore their creativity and love for theatre in a supported and inclusive environment. For anyone who loves to perform, & create and wants to learn new theatre making techniques while enhancing the performance skills. Led by industry professionals, members will explore their creativity and gain practical experience of performance and theatre making.
Skills covered:
Learn physical theatre skills
Introduction to character development and text work
Skills in devising and ensemble theatre
Understanding of story and plot
Practical knowledge of stagecraft
Autumn term:
Join us for a dynamic exploration of performance-making, inspired by the vivid characters and unforgettable worlds of Charles Dickens. This term participants will develop their skills in devising, physical storytelling, and adaptation — all leading to a one-off performance at the historic Theatre Royal Bath. Working with top industry professionals, students will explore a range of theatre-making techniques including script-work, improvisation, and ensemble collaboration. Through the lens of Dickens’ work, we’ll unpack timeless themes and reimagine classic stories for contemporary audiences.
