Autumn term:
Join us for a dynamic exploration of performance-making, inspired by the vivid characters and unforgettable worlds of Charles Dickens. This term participants will develop their skills in devising, physical storytelling, and adaptation — all leading to a one-off performance at the historic Theatre Royal Bath. Working with top industry professionals, students will explore a range of theatre-making techniques including script-work, improvisation, and ensemble collaboration. Through the lens of Dickens’ work, we’ll unpack timeless themes and reimagine classic stories for contemporary audiences.
We are happy to confirm that following last year’s success this Autumn term will once again finish with a performance on the Main Stage at Theatre Royal Bath. On Sunday 23rd November the Theatre Royal building will be hosting four of our groups, showcasing the work our students have done over the term and celebrating their achievements. Each group will be performing a short piece, and all theatre school members will be invited to take part in our popular open mic event and other exciting activities.
