Ever wondered how they make the monsters in Star Wars or in the Dark Crystal? Well, this is for you!
A fun and relaxed series of workshops that look at how to make moving animatronics, props, and puppetry, all using simple air control systems and specific materials used within the film industry.
All workshops will be delivered via The Egg Assembly platform and you will need a free Zoom account. All materials will be delivered directly and safely to your door. Please provide your address at the time of booking.

Ruby Sant: Ruby has been working as a scenic designer and fabricator for over a decade. She specialises in building large scale, outdoor interactive work, and has designed and built work for audiences up to 25,000
Previous clients include Glastonbury Fest, Boomtown Fair, Leftcoast and Live and Local.
Following a fellowship with the South West Creative Technology Network, Ruby has been developing interactive, soft-robotic animatronics and robotics with the aim of creating audience reactive experiences. Soft robotics is still a very new field, likely to become one of the cornerstones of future practice in film making, theatre and animatronics.
