After the success of DRAW FROM WITHIN, the world renowned RAMBERT are creating a unique mix of dance, theatre and film for a new live streamed performance.

ROOMS

17 dancers, 35 scenes, 100 characters…

Like passing by miniature scenes through a train window, or cycling through the streets and peering into apartments, we all love to glimpse into other lives, and the homes they’re lived out in.

Rambert’s brilliant dancers invite us into wildly different worlds and surprising set ups. People trying to live their lives, navigate dilemmas, swerve mishaps and survive their mini dramas.

ROOMS is a deftly ambitious dance theatre film that is performed live. It’s sometimes absurd, it’s oftentimes funny. It’s beautiful and it’s peculiar, and occasionally a little bit sad.

Or maybe it’s all perfectly normal.

“…unlike most livestreams, this was not a static recording or a glitchy presentation over Zoom. Watching it felt more like watching a movie, immersive and absorbing, yet easily the most technically sophisticated live dance production I’ve seen since theaters closed” New York Times on Rambert’s Draw from Within

These performances will have captions provided by Stagetext. A link to captions will be available during the show on the livestream page for each performance.

Please note, ticket sales from Theatre Royal Bath will close 24 hours prior to each performance.

After this time, online tickets can still be purchased from the following venues – Wales Millennium Centre (sales close 30 minutes before); Theatre Royal Plymouth (1 hour before) & Birmingham Hippodrome (90 minutes before)
