Tue 18 — Sat 22 Oct

A loving recreation of the silent film era, Mack and Mabel is the story of legendary director Mack Sennett and his greatest star, the adorable Mabel Normand.

Mack himself guides the audience through his tale of triumph, romance and regret. Bankrupted by the talkies and forced to sell his studio, Mack reminisces about his colourful past, including his bittersweet love affair with Mabel .

Jerry Herman’s celebrated score includes some of his most treasured gems, including Time Heals Everything, I Won’t Send Roses, Look What Happened to Mabel and the Overture made famous in Torvill & Dean’s record-breaking ice dance routine in 1982.

Bath Light Operatic Group returns to Bath following previous acclaimed productions including award winning musicals, Shrek The Musical and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
