Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society explodes onto the stage with this upbeat, high energy show bursting with memorable songs and dynamic dances.

Based on the novel by Amanda Brown, and the smash hit 2001 movie, this stage version won three Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, following its West End debut in 2011.

This social parody (in pink) follows the transformation of California Girl, Elle Woods, as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal when she applies to Harvard Law School in pursuit of love. Equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, this musical is so much fun it shouldn’t be legal!

Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society is one of the most acclaimed amateur companies in the region and has been performing in Bath since 1894. Recent productions at the Theatre Royal include Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, Sweet Charity, West Side Story and Hairspray.

“BODS have, once again, conjured up a stunning theatrical experience” Bath Magazine

“Done with such enthusiasm plus seriously good singing” Bath Chronicle

“A triumph” Western Daily Press

(Reviews from 2019’s Fiddler on the Roof)
