How happily married are the happily married?

Following a sold-out run at the National Theatre and direct from a West End transfer, Katherine Parkinson reprises her acclaimed role as Judy in Laura Wade’s new comedy about one woman’s quest to be the perfect 1950s housewife. Every couple needs a little fantasy to keep their marriage sparkling. But behind the gingham curtains, things start to unravel, and being a domestic goddess is not as easy as it seems.

Katherine Parkinson is best known for her roles in The IT Crowd, for which she received a British Comedy Best TV Actress Award and a BAFTA TV Award, Humans and Doc Martin.

Laura Wade’s plays include Posh, which she adapted into the film The Riot Club and Tipping the Velvet (adapted from Sarah Waters’s novel).
