Find the Joy is an end of term showcase, championing new work presented by students on the Performing & Production Arts course at Bath Theatre Academy.

The programme aims to celebrate life, by finding the joy in every moment.

This final project is the culmination of our students’ creative process, harnessing the skills they have explored and developed over their two years of study.

Join us in celebrating their work.

Performance 1: The Outside Within

Company:  τρία

Performers: Chante Bembridge, Flora Lester, Hamish Gregory

Three patients are taken into a world of fake reality, confused and unsure. Trapped between the utopia and dystopia of two worlds. This is a modern view of reality and how it’s just a perception. Taking you through a journey of self-discovery, you will experience the minds of Duncan, Sam and Vanessa, and how they found the joy in the Outside Within.

Performance 2: House of Cards

Company: Word Forge

Performer: Ephraim Sampson

A combination of stand-up comedy and spoken word poetry, looking at things that some people may or may not experience in life, but will all witness at least once.

Performance 3: Obstacles

Company: Glass Curtain

Performer: Rose Fitter

After being asked a question by her seminar audience, Hazel Thornberg looks back on her life and tells the story about how she found the joy in her dyslexia.
