“This triumphant, glorious musical … when Kingsley is singing I Only Want To Be With You, or The Look of Love, or You Don’t Own Me you’d swear that Springfield herself has been resurrected and come back to perform, just for us, in the flesh, for one night only. Fabulous” The Bath Magazine

“A riveting performance … This show is a must for all fans of Dusty” Western Daily Press

“As brilliantly acted as it is sung … A terrific performance by Katherine Kingsley … Dusty richly deserves huge success” Fine Times Recorder

The new musical charting the life of one of Britain’s most successful and enduringly popular singers is currently enjoying its world premiere in Bath with fantastic audience reactions and terrific reviews. Three time Olivier Award nominee Katherine Kingsley (Piaf, Singin’ in the Rain) stars in the title role. Actor, comedian and presenter Rufus Hound (What The Butler Saw, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Wind in the Willows) plays Dusty’s manager Billings and Roberta Taylor (The BillEastEnders) plays her mother Kay.

With a fiercely funny and emotionally charged script from BAFTA and Olivier nominated writer Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing, Coronation Street), DUSTY is directed by Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman (Merrily We Roll Along, Stepping Out).

Katherine Kingsley, Maria Friedman and Jonathan Harvey on Graham Norton’s BBC Radio 2 show, Saturday 26 May includes Katherine’s stunning performance of The Look Of Love.

DUSTY features many of the singer’s blazingly soulful pop hits, including I Only Want to Be with YouSon of a Preacher Man and You Don’t Have to Say You Love Meand draws on the memories of her close friend, manager and authorised biographer, Vicki Wickham, her lifelong personal assistant Pat Rhodes, and friend and record company executive Tris Penna.
