It is 1935. The Shakespeare Players, formed by Peter Richards and his wife Felicity are performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Theatre Royal Bath. After the final dress rehearsal, some of the cast retire to the 1805 Rooms to enjoy a relaxing drink. The rest go their various ways and Bottom apparently stays to clear up his props. The cast are in good humour after a successful run through, but they are interrupted by Detective Chief inspector Appleby of Scotland Yard who has some bad news. It would seem that the night is becoming less of a dream and more of a nightmare…! Enjoy a delicious lunch and help solve the crime in the company of actors from the ever-popular Moonstone Theatre Company.
