It’s hard to be the king of the turntables when you live in south London and your African mother doesn’t understand her Hip from her Hop., Have Box Will Travel tells the mesmerizing, funny and moving semi-autobiographical story of a boy growing up in pursuit of a dream.
Globally acclaimed for his electrifying performances and entertaing writing, Charlie Dark is a veteran of the UK poetry and performance scene, equally at home behind the turntables as he is on the stage.
