Fundraisers
The Theatre greatly appreciates its Fundraisers who work tirelessly throughout the year, organising social events to raise money to aid the running and upkeep of the Theatre Royal Bath. Events include concerts, bridge evenings, selling Christmas Cards, trips to other theatres around the country and raffles. Recent donations have included £15,000 towards the Theatre’s new Box Office system, and £5,000 towards the modernisation of some of the Dressing Rooms. Bridge Evenings
From January through to April, once a month the Fundraisers organise an evening of Bridge at 7.30pm, in the 1805 Rooms. Doors open at 7pm. In the interval, coffee and supper is served and wine is available. Tickets are £8 for each session and booking for all four is £28 per head. Theatre Vaults Gallery
The Theatre Royal Vaults Art Gallery is situated in the corridor outside the Vaults Restaurant at the entrance to the Stalls seating area. Organised by the Theatre Fundraisers, the gallery concentrates on displaying the works of a broad spectrum of work by talented local artists to a wider audience. Next time you visit the Theatre, arrive a little earlier and spend a few minutes viewing our latest exhibition. Volunteers
The Theatre is always grateful for the help of volunteers who help to distribute the Theatre Royal’s season brochures to far-flung villages and towns (The Print Distribution Team), and others who have come into the theatre to help with mailing brochures and archiving theatre material.
