Launched by The National Theatre  in response to a demand for good, new, relevant plays for young people to perform. This year the egg is delighted be a Connections festival partner, hosting two weeks of plays written for and performed by young people from across the region.

This year’s festival will see performances from: Weds 14 – Sat 24 March 2018

National Theatre Connections
Following on from last year’s success, the egg is once again playing host to the nation’s largest youth theatre festival.

Our 2018 festival will run over two weeks so we can open our doors to double the number of youth theatre groups from all over the South West, who will perform an exciting array of brand new plays specifically commissioned by the National Theatre.

In addition to welcoming 17 visiting companies from across the South West and beyond, we are thrilled to announce that students from our resident company, Bath Theatre Academy, will be performing Alice Birch’s [BLANK] as part of the festival line-up
