The North! The North!

The North! The North!

Overview

In 1985, a fissure formed at England’s centre and split the north from the south. A real gap, descending into an abyss of bottomless depth. In the north, cut off, things began to stir.

It begins with a phone call and some shocking news. A young man begins a quest that will led him on an extraordinary, surreal journey back to where it all began: the dark and bloody heart of the north. There monsters lurk and a reckoning waits.

Highly physical storytelling and animation combine in a grotesque road trip through a world bent out of shape. The North! The North! is a critically-acclaimed, darkly twisted solo show about Britain, the bad things that happen to us, and the stories we make up in response.
