“This is a great offering from Bath panto – one of the best this reviewer’s ever seen here. Visually spectacular and crammed with jokes” - Venue Magazine on 2007/8’s Aladdin

Jack and the Beanstalk features all the elements for a traditional family treat. There’s a great story; a loveable Dame and her two silly sons; the alluring Daisy the Cow; the eminently hissable giant Blunderbore and his incredibly evil helper, Fleshcreep; a magical goose which lays golden eggs; and of course, the most amazing gigantic beanstalk.

Guest star Lewis Bradley was one of the finalists in the BBC’s search for Joseph, Any Dream Will Do and has played the role of Joseph in the West End. A terrific singer and performer, Lewis will bring his exuberant personality to the role of Jack.

Colin Baker is one of the UK’s best-loved actors for his role as the sixth incarnation of Doctor Who. His numerous stage roles range from the classics to Gilbert and Sullivan. He brings his extensive pantomime experience to the role of Fleshcreep.

Chris Harris is one of the West Country’s best-loved performers and returns once again by huge public demand to play Dame and once again to direct the show.

Susan Penhaligon plays the fairy. Her many television credits include A Touch of Frost, Bouquet of Barbed Wire, A Fine Romance and Emmerdale.

With Jon Monie in fine comic form as Simple Simon, Marcus Knibbs as King and the dancers from Bath’s Dorothy Coleborn School back to delight, Jack and the Beanstalk promises to be filled with fabulous festive fun.
