CREATIVE LEARNING TRAINEESHIP
This opportunity is part of The Egg’s Pipeline Programme: OPEN Egg, a three-year initiative supporting six early-career theatre creatives (two per year) through a paid freelance training placement.
The Creative Learning Traineeship offers hands-on experience within the engagement team at The Egg Theatre. The trainee will contribute to the day-to-day running of the Theatre School, supporting the delivery of both formal and informal theatre training for young people aged 5–18. The role will also work alongside our Young Board Associates, Youth Council and committee participants, helping to nurture youth voice and creative development across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, confidence engaging with a wide range of people, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong organisational and general administrative skills are essential, alongside a genuine interest in theatre and creative learning.
We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who have faced barriers to accessing opportunities within the theatre sector due to their lived experience. We strongly encourage applications from individuals from the Global Majority, who remain underrepresented within our theatre and across the wider industry. This engagement is generously funded by The Garek Trust.
